Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of consultier.ai and the Consultier platform (the “Service”), provided by Consultier (“Consultier”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.

1. The Service

Consultier helps consulting firms and their partners understand partner relationships across the consulting market, and helps them discover and engage experienced consulting professionals. Some features are offered as an early-access preview and may change, be limited or be withdrawn while we develop the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 and using the Service for professional purposes.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once at privacy@consultier.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Accounts are personal to the named user and must not be shared.

3. Candidate information and confidentiality

Client users may see information about consulting professionals. You agree to:

• use candidate information only to assess candidates for genuine opportunities within your organisation;
• keep candidate information confidential, and not copy, export, sell or disclose it except as the Service allows;
• not try to identify candidates from anonymised profiles or contact them outside the Service's introduction process;
• comply with data protection laws that apply to you when handling any candidate information that has been released to you.

Candidates confirm that the information they provide is accurate, and that they are entitled to share any documents they upload.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or its data, or use automated means to access it except through interfaces we provide for that purpose;
• reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or build a competing product from the Service;
• interfere with the security or operation of the Service, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• upload malicious code, or content that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or infringes the rights of others;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

5. Fees

Access to paid features, and any recruitment or placement fees, are governed by a separate written agreement or order form between you and us. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails.

6. Messages

By giving us your email address or mobile number, you agree to receive service messages about your account. If you opt in to text messages, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, data compilations and the consultier.ai name and marks, belongs to Consultier and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You keep ownership of content you submit, and you grant us the rights we need to host, process and display it to provide the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service, including insights, rankings and matching results, is provided “as is” and “as available” to support, not replace, your own professional judgement. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that any introduction will result in a hire or engagement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Consultier is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in that period or EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify Consultier against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of candidate information or of the Service.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates risk for others, or if required by law. Sections 3, 7 and 9 to 14 continue to apply after termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give registered users reasonable notice by email. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

These Terms, with our Privacy Policy and any agreement referred to in section 5, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale.
